This qualification prepares you to set up a home based childcare setting. It is also suitable for those who wish to be employed in home based childcare settings as childminding assistants or other home child carers (e.g. nannies, au pairs).
The course covers:
- Setting up a home-based childcare service
- Working with parents
- Safeguarding children
- Supporting positive behaviour
- Play and activities to support equality and inclusion
- Developing routines
- Establish a safe and healthy environment.
As this is a knowledge only unit you do not need access to a workplace to complete this course.
Once you have completed the course you will be awarded with an accredited Cache certificate.
No college attendance is required.
