Child and young person development (2 credits)
This unit aims to develop knowledge and understanding of child and young person development and the factors, including transitions, which may affect development.
What this unit covers:
- Understand development from 0-19 years
- Understand how different aspects of development can affect one another
- Looking at how background, health and environment can affect children and young people’s development
- Looking at the importance of recognising and responding to concerns about children and young people’s development
- Identifying common and uncommon transitions children go through and how they may affect development
As this is a knowledge only unit you do not need access to a workplace to complete this course.
Once you have completed the course you will be awarded with an accredited Cache certificate.
No college attendance is required.
