Understand playwork principles (4 credits)

This unit is aimed at those working or looking to work with children and young people between 4-16 years of age in a variety of play environments – breakfast club, after schools, holiday club, to help give an understanding of playwork principles.

Play is the fundamental way that children enjoy their childhood, it is essential to their quality of life as children to support their health and development, this unit will help you explore and understand this further and look at the different play opportunities we can provide.

As this is a knowledge only unit you do not need access to a workplace to complete this course.

Once you have completed the course you will be awarded with an accredited Cache certificate.

No college attendance is required.
