Level 3 Award in Transition to Playwork
This qualification is made up of three units:

A Playworker’s understanding of Playwork

Playwork in practice

Playwork in the wider context
This is a newly updated qualification, with the aim of this qualification being to provide learners who have experience and who are qualified at level 3 in working with children, with an understanding of the playwork principles and theories that underpin playwork practice.
The qualification also aims to cover how applying the playwork principles and theories provides a framework that enables and supports children’s play, and their overall development.
This course is suitable for Early Years practitioners who would like to broaden their knowledge and work in a playwork setting.
This is a knowledge and skills based qualification so you will need to be working in a Playwork setting to complete this
course.
You will need to already hold a level 3 Early Years qualification to do this course.
No college attendance is required.
