This Childcare level 2 course is perfect for you if you are working or interested in working with children aged 0-5 years.
The aim of this qualification is to provide you with the knowledge and understanding of babies and young children from birth to seven years of age with applied knowledge in the early years, 0–5 years.
Your assessor will visit you in the workplace to plan with you, carry out observations, question you on knowledge evidence and generally support you through your course.
We will identify someone within the workplace who will act as your mentor and support you during your qualification.
The course will take approximately 8 months to complete and you will need to be working, this can be employed or volunteering, in a childcare setting for a minimum of 6 hours a week for the duration of the course. There will be a taught session at the college every month that all learners are encouraged to attend as this is an opportunity for us to support you in understanding each task, to gain ideas and to socialise with others on the same course.
We currently have some government funding available for this level 2 qualification. Get in touch for full criteria and to secure one of these limited spaces!
This course can also be privately funded if preferred. Please get in touch for private payment plan options.
