Childcare Level 3
CACHE NCFE Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Workforce (Early Years Educator) (EYE)
This course is right for you if you are already supervising members of staff or working in a face to face role with children and if you want to expand your current underpinning knowledge from level 2.
This qualification qualifies you to work with children aged 0-5 and gives you the knowledge of children aged 0-7. If you are interested in working in a school for example please take a look at our Teaching & Learning courses.
Your assessor will visit you in the workplace to plan with you, carry out observations, question you on knowledge evidence and generally support you through your course. You will also attend taught sessions at the college, usually once a month in the evening. This is an opportunity for us to support you in understanding each task, to gain ideas and to socialise with others on the same course.
You should expect to take approximately 12-14 months to complete this course. Completion can be achieved quicker depending on time, skills and commitment. You will need to be working in an early years setting, this can be employed or volunteering, for a minimum of 12 hours a week for the duration of this course.
